Poultney Comes Together Report and Action Plan

In response to the closure of Green Mountain College, the Poultney community came together in 2019 to chart a path forward. Over 200 residents participated in creating this action plan, which identifies five key priorities for local revitalization:

• Expand trails, biking, and outdoor recreation as economic drivers

• Develop a co-working space and business incubator

• Establish a local bank

• Improve broadband access

• Revitalize downtown Poultney

Task forces were formed to turn these ideas into action, with continued updates shared to maintain momentum and accountability.
